Maptesting.com
is a unique and effective way to obtain new clients and jump-start
the therapeutic process. The plan starts with you, the professional,
creating a web page that in essence serves as your marketing
arena. You can do this yourself or our office can create this
for you.
Prior
to the client's first appointment, you direct them to your
web page that has a customized link to maptesting.com. This
link insures that you have complete control over who is taking
the test. The client will then be instructed to:
- Fill
out a personal and confidential life history
- Complete
a financial information sheet
- Check
that they have read your informed consent form
- Take
a 100 item assessment

|

The
client will then check a consent form prior to taking the
test, agreeing that the results will be delivered to you
(if they don't agree to this, the assessment will not begin).
The assessment is a 100 item questionnaire that will identify
the client's learning style, areas of psychological difficulty,
and temperament. (Clients under 13 will need their parent
or guardian to help them with the assessment) Insight into
these areas will help the therapist understand how to counsel
this individual. The questions from the assessment are put
up on the screen one at a time and will take approximately
15-20 minutes to complete. The results of the M.A.P. along
with the history and financial sheets, will immediately
be sent to your e-mail address.

the
benefit of the M.A.P. package for your practice as a therapist
includes:
-
You
will have pertinent data about your client prior to your
first visit
-
your
client will not have to come in early to fill out tedious
paper work
-
The
client can learn about you from your web site
-
You
can answer questions and market yourself without the additional
expenses from brochures, advertisements, etc.

Financially,
the M.A.P. Test will benefit your practice in several ways:
-
The
test is discounted to Mental Health Professionals.
-
Your
office is billed your client's taking the test.
-
You
bill your client directly for the test at your standard
rate. The agency then can profit financially by using
this system.
-
We
encourage everyone taking the test to get a professional
evaluation.
